Ingrid is a classical harpist currently based in Wellington. Whether you’re looking for a recital artist, harp lessons, or just some background music for a wedding or function, Ingrid can help you.
Ingrid holds a BMus in Performance Harp from Victoria University of Wellington, with Honours from the Australian National University, Canberra. She has 9 years of experience teaching harpists of all ages, and performs regularly with professional orchestras across Australia and New Zealand, as well as giving solo and chamber music recitals. Ingrid is now settling back in at home in Wellington, after her trip to the Dutch Harp Competition. Although Ingrid did not progress beyond the quarterfinal, it was an inspiring experience with a lot of opportunities to listen and learn. Ingrid is now keeping busy playing in the NZSO and teaching, and is also looking forward to playing with the SMP Ensemble next month. Check the concert calendar for details!

Ingrid is very excited to have been accepted into Toronto’s Glenn Gould School, to commence an Advanced Diploma in harp in September 2012. First visit to Canada in about 17 years...
